Registered Nurse – Med Surg / Telemetry (7E) – Nights (4x12)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 4x12-hour shifts | 19:00–07:00
Key Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care activities for adult patients across a mixed 50% Medical / 50% Telemetry unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
- Maintain patient ratios of approximately 4–6:1 (estimates, not guarantees) while utilizing standard telemetry unit equipment and EPIC EMR
- Float as needed to a similar or lower acuity unit
- Work every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) as a standard expectation, unless otherwise approved prior to confirmation
- Participate in orientation on day shift; traveler must be available the entire week for orientation
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold a Missouri RN license
- BLS certification from AHA only
- ACLS certification from AHA only
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of Telemetry nursing experience
- Flu vaccination (or facility-approved exemption) required for assignments running November 1 – April 1; declinations are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working on a combined Med Surg / Telemetry unit with adult patient populations
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on positive patient outcomes and superior communication skills
