    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit with a focus on geriatric patients presenting with behavioral disturbances and medical issues, including dementia, confusion, and impulsive behaviors
    • Monitor and interpret telemetry/ECG rhythms and manage medications in accordance with unit protocols
    • Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 4:1
    • Collaborate with CNAs and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, effective care
    • Successfully pass required ECG/Telemetry and Medication competency assessments prior to assignment start — one attempt only, 85% passing score required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts
    • Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting
    • Ability to complete and pass ECG/Telemetry and Medication competency tests within 48 hours of offer — no remediation or re-sit opportunities are available
    • Candidates must not have worked at this facility (as travel, permanent, or per diem) within the past six months; a minimum six-month separation is required for consideration
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for geriatric patients with dementia, behavioral disturbances, or cognitive impairments
    • Strong dysrhythmia recognition and medication management skills
    • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in an acute care environment
