    Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Onsite | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to Medical-Surgical Telemetry boarder patients housed within the Emergency Department while awaiting inpatient bed placement
    • Manage a patient population averaging approximately 40 boarding patients per day at a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1
    • Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms; Day 1 telemetry testing is required and must be passed within 2 attempts during compliance/onboarding
    • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate safe and timely transitions from the ED to inpatient units
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Massachusetts (MA) Registered Nurse license required
    • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
    • ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
    • Experience in a Level 1 Trauma center required
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR required
    • Prior experience caring for boarder patients in an Emergency Department setting required
    • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Strong background in Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing in a high-acuity environment
    • Demonstrated ability to manage high patient volumes and prioritize care effectively
    • Experience working in fast-paced Emergency Department or boarding unit settings
