Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) RN Night Shift Short Term Acute Care facility. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to neurology and neurosurgical patients, with a focus on post-surgical neurology patients and those with various neurological diagnoses. The role requires proficiency in neuro assessment scales and the ability to manage complex neurological cases in a dynamic environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: JOB ID3462427 #1Y/1ST TIMER Neuro EXP Tele RN Req 10674. The assignment is for 16 or 26 weeks with the possibility of floating between units.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license preferred), RN license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certification, at least 1 year of telehealth experience, and a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, craniotomy, cerebrovascular accident (CVA), dysrhythmia interpretation and management, neuro stepdown, pre/post neurosurgery care, procedural sedation, spinal cord injury, telemetry, traumatic brain injury unit.
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for patients within a stroke unit designated as thrombectomy capable, spine center of excellence, and a Level 3 epilepsy center. Applicants should have experience with Epic electronic charting. Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to prior work at Providence facilities including location and dates, and provide two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years prior to start.
