Job Details

• Position Description: This role is for a registered nurse specializing in telemetry, responsible for monitoring and caring for patients with various diagnoses, including respiratory conditions, COPD, chest pain, and other cardiovascular issues. The unit has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 during night shifts and involves duties such as rhythm interpretation and titration of certain drips like Cardizem and Amiodarone.
• Certifications / Education / Experience / Location / Skills: Valid BLS certification, ACLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience in a telemetry or related setting. Must hold a valid license to practice as a registered nurse.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The assignment includes float requirements across multiple campuses; orientation includes three sessions on different campuses. Call or standby may not be required; hospital allows self-scheduling requests, particularly for block scheduling on night shifts. The electronic charting system used is EPIC.
