Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry, intermediate care, or a related specialty
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and every other weekend
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and prioritization skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to telemetry and intermediate care patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify changes in patient condition promptly
• Perform thorough assessments and communicate significant findings to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical standards and unit protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital guidelines
• Support patients and families with education, reassurance, and discharge planning
