Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Minimum 1 year of recent registered nursing experience, preferably in telemetry, cardiac, pulmonary, med-surg, or acute care settings
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort caring for patients with cardiac and pulmonary diagnoses
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions
• Monitor patient status, interpret changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, efficient patient care
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Support patient education, discharge preparation, and ongoing recovery goals
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compassionate care environment
