Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: MO or Compact License Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Isolation Precautions/PPE - Management of dysrhythmias - Nasal Cannula - Non-invasive airway management - Peripheral Line Care/Management - Telemetry Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. This role is located in a Progressive Care Unit. The nurse assignments will include patient care for adult patients with telemetry needs. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5-6. The nurse will be required to work weekends, with a commitment to 2 shifts every other weekend. This position does not require on-call duty. The candidate will float within the telemetry service line as needed. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Candidates must have experience with telemetry and be comfortable interpreting telemetry readings. The role requires adherence to all protocols for managing patient care in a progressive care environment. Team collaboration and communication will be essential for delivering high-quality patient care. The nurse will be responsible for conducting assessments and implementing care plans for patients.
