License: Valid Compact license in hand at submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Client RN experience. Comfortable with the NIH scale. Proficient in caring for post-surgical neurology patients and various neurology diagnoses. Description: This position requires floating between units as needed. Weekends are required every other weekend. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. Candidates should have previous charge experience. Patient ratios during nights and weekends are based on unit needs. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays during the contract period. References covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required prior to the start.
