Every other weekend required. Weekends consist of 4 weekends in a 4-week schedule cycle. Holidays are required as they fall, as scheduled. Floating is required within the specialty and to lower acuity as needed. On-call is not required. Daily census includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy. Patient diagnoses include cardiac dysrhythmias, acute coronary syndrome, congestive heart failure, respiratory failure, pneumonia, and stroke.
