Qualifications

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of recent telemetry, med-surg, or similar acute care nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and advanced assessment skills
• Comfort managing vasoactive drips and higher-acuity telemetry patients
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for telemetry patients with cardiac and medical needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, including vasoactive drips, according to clinical standards
• Support procedures and care related to central lines and PICC lines as needed
• Complete thorough assessments, documentation, bedside shift reports, and hourly rounding
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
