• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

• Guaranteed Hours: 48
• Schedule: Full-time hours required, including 3 weekend shifts per scheduling period
• Setting: Cardiac Telemetry Unit

Job Requirements

• Active RN license required
• No minimum years of experience required
• Cardiac Telemetry, PCU, or ICU experience required
• Ability to read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips
• Experience with post-cardiac procedural care, including ablations, cardiac catheterizations, post-op day 1 open heart, and permanent pacemaker placements
• Experience administering and titrating IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and float to other areas where competency has been demonstrated
• Commitment to excellent patient experience and respectful bedside communication

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for cardiac telemetry patients with attention to safety, accuracy, and compassion
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry strips, and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac procedures and surgeries
• Administer and titrate IV medications per protocol and provider orders
• Perform and assist with procedures including IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, chest tube maintenance, temporary pacemakers, and Foley insertions
• Document patient care accurately using the facility’s electronic health record system
• Support a strong patient experience by communicating clearly, responding promptly, and treating every patient with courtesy and respect
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain a smooth workflow in a dynamic, team-oriented cardiac care setting
