**Position Highlights**:
- Work with a dynamic team in a 32-bed unit focusing on exceptional cardiac care.
- Enjoy a patient ratio of approximately 1:6 to 1:8 during night shifts.
- Utilize advanced equipment: Alaris pumps, telemetry, and lift equipment.
- Engage with patients who require comprehensive cardiac and medical-surgical care.
**Qualifications**:
- Current RN License in Missouri or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Cardiac Tele (inpatient only).
- Required Certifications:
- BLS from AHA (American Heart Association)
- 4 trauma credits (must be completed within the first two weeks).
- NIHSS (may start without but must obtain prior to beginning).
- Preferred Certifications:
- ACLS from AHA
**Skills Needed**:
- Strong experience and competence in drug titration.
- Personality traits: Determined, decisive, flexible.
**Dress Code**:
- Scrubs: Black
- Unacceptable Attire: Torn clothing, open-toed shoes, and not wearing scrubs.
**Work Conditions and Responsibilities**:
- Stand and walk for most of the shift.
- Meet physical demands, which include bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance.
- High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids.
- Maintain professional standards in patient care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality.
