**Job Description:**
- **Position:** RN, Telemetry
- **Location:** Medical 6B Unit, Springfield, MO
- **Shift:** Nights, 1900-0700
- **Assignment Length:** 13 Weeks
- **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 (please indicate preference)
**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 32
- **Patient Ratios:** Days 1:5-1:6, Nights 1:6-1:7 (not guaranteed)
- **Equipment:** Telemetry, lift equipment, IV pumps, tube feeding pumps
- **EMR:** EPIC
**Who We're Looking For:**
- **Must Have Skills/Experience:**
- 1 year of Telemetry experience (inpatient only)
- Experience and competence in drug titration
- **Preferred Skillset/Experience:** N/A
- **Type of Patients on Unit:** Medical, med-tele, respiratory
- **Personality Fit:** Determined, decisive, flexible
**Dress Code:**
- **Scrub Color:** Black
- **Unacceptable Attire:** Anything but black scrubs
**Working Conditions:**
- Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups
- Evaluate effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers
- Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
- Comply with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and Mercy Service Standards
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and turning patients with assistance
- High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids
