Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 hours Experience: EPIC experience required License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required Must-Have: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Acute care facility experience preferred Description: Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment. Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and safety. Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes. Identify outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation. Collaborate with the team of patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide patient care in a safe and caring environment. Provide learning opportunities for patients and team members. Directly provide health information to patients, families, and treatment teams. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Adhere to safety and wellbeing protocols and receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment. Medical and religious exemptions may apply. Engage in E-Verify processes as part of employment protocols. Total bed count includes telemetry and dialysis beds. Staffing ratios for night shifts are 1:4. Full-time staff are required to work weekends as scheduled. Medication system includes Omnicell, and documentation system is Epic. Support services include pharmacy, phlebotomy, and patient registration. Equipment includes telemetry monitors. Special procedures include cardioversion, ECHO, and procedure recovery.
