Pay Rate:$54.60 - $63.70 Per Hour (based on provided rate conversion)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Pediatrics to provide high-quality care for pediatric patients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience caring for pediatric medical-surgical patients, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient and family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in a Medical Surgical setting.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and patient safety standards.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Current BLS Certification required.
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
- Previous Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
