Telemetry (TELE) Nurse positions are available at a healthcare facility located in Hopewell, VA. This role involves providing patient care on a telemetry unit, with a focus on cardiac monitoring, line placements, dialysis procedures, and other related responsibilities. The position offers a standard day shift schedule, allowing for predictable hours consistent with a 36-hour workweek.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; healthcare professional must have a telemetry, cardiac drips, and strong cardiac background; experience in a step-down (SD) or progressive care unit (PCU) setting; no minimum years of experience required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Strong cardiac background; SD/PCU experience; ability to demonstrate reliability and accountability; team player attitude
  • Additional Information: Unit features telemetry equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. The team consists of a charge nurse, RNs, and PCTs, with patient ratios of 1:6. Dress code requires all-black scrubs or black pants with a red top for registered nurses. Staff will work every other weekend and on-call shifts are part of the schedule.
