Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in Telemetry (TELE) for a facility located in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This role involves providing patient care within a Telemetry unit, supporting safe and effective patient monitoring and treatment. The position requires adaptability to a floating schedule across multiple inpatient units, ensuring flexibility and comprehensive clinical support.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Nursing License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health (NIH) certification, and at least 2 years of strong Medical/Surgical nursing experience. Experience in electronic charting (EPIC) is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in a resource or float pool environment, with familiarity in rotating across inpatient units.
• Float: All float nurses will remain within the Resource Team but will rotate through Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend.
• On-Call Requirements: None.
• Holiday Requirements: As needed.
• Orientation: Orientation sessions are scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays, totaling 24 hours (12 hours non-billable).
• Additional Information: Candidates must submit an updated resume, a skills checklist completed within the past 12 months, one recent reference, and verification of Illinois license prior to start.
