Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Compact or state RN license required Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in high acuity ICU Ability to float to other ICUs and SDUs Epic experience required Experience with pulmonary artery catheters and intra-aortic balloon pumps preferred Description: The role involves caring for surgical recovery patients in a high acuity environment. You will provide post-operative care for patients, including those recovering from cardiac surgeries and transplants. You may need to manage patients with continuous renal replacement therapy. Expectations include participation in an emergency team as assigned by management. Candidates should have experience with various critical care skills, including ventilator management and IV therapy.
