Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Stepdown RN for a travel assignment in Bridgeport, WV. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an acute care setting within an 18-bed Intermediate Medical Unit (IMU). Nurses will operate in a supportive environment, managing typical step down type patients, including those with post-operative vascular issues and GI bleeds.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Manage care for patients with conditions such as post-MI, ADHS, and DKA
• Titrate drips including Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene
• Read telemetry strips for all patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care
• Participate in the holiday and weekend rotation as scheduled

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• Active RN license in the state of WV
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with step down type patients
• Proficiency in using EPIC charting system
