Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Provide care to patients with medical-surgical, cardiac, IDDM, COPD, trauma, ortho, ENT, and urology conditions.
• Titrate drips effectively in the Stepdown unit and manage Heparin drips on the floor.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Work collaboratively with the charge nurse and house supervisor on each shift.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system for patient documentation.

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Experience with titration of drips
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Drivers license with address outside 50 miles from the facility
