BLS required (must be from AHA).
Acute care rehabilitation preferred.
Must-Have:
Every other weekend required.
No call requirement.

Description:
Join our medical rehabilitation team as a Registered Nurse.
We provide care for patients with a wide range of diagnoses including cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, amputations, spinal cord injuries, neurological diseases, and deconditioning.
Each patient has a dedicated care team including a physician, nurse practitioner, nurse, two therapists, and a social worker.
The team collaborates to create comprehensive care plans for our patients.
Therapy is provided for three hours a day, Monday through Friday, with a length of stay averaging around two weeks.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:4/5 during the day and 1:5/6 at night.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Candidates must be able to float within their scope to meet facility needs when required.
Candidates must comply with the flu vaccination policy unless medical proof of allergy is provided.
COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
Candidates must provide verification of RN licensure and references from previous managers or charge nurses within the past two years.
Required skills include the management of various types of patient care, administration of blood products, and acute inpatient rehabilitation.
Patient care duties may include working with assistive devices, monitoring blood glucose levels, and implementing infection prevention measures.
Successful candidates will possess strong patient teaching skills and the ability to perform assessments and interventions related to a variety of medical conditions.
