Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 4x10 Monday–Friday | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | No Call | No Weekends | No Holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures including General, Genitourinary (GU), and Orthopedic surgeries
- Perform first assist duties including suturing and wound closure
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Operating Room environment
- Navigate multiple computer systems including EPIC EMR efficiently during procedures
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to support safe and effective surgical outcomes
- Function both independently and collaboratively as part of a surgical team
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2+ years of RNFA or OR experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CNOR, and CSFA
- Experience assisting with General, GU, and Orthopedic surgical procedures
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced OR environment with strong computer navigation skills
- Flu vaccination required (November 1 – April 1); exemptions must be client approved
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ability to scrub in addition to first assist responsibilities
- Experience working in a high-volume or growing surgical unit
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
