Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 4x10 | No weekends | No holidays | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures, including suturing and wound closure
- Provide quality first-assist care in a fast-paced Operating Room environment
- Support General, GU, and Orthopedic surgical cases
- Navigate multiple computer systems, including EPIC EMR, to support patient care documentation
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to adapt to dynamic surgical situations
- Function effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative surgical team
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with RNFA or CSFA designation
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CNOR, and CSFA
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an RNFA in an OR setting
- Flu vaccination required for assignments running November 1 – April 1 (exemptions subject to client approval)
- Call requirements apply; expectations to be discussed at interview
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ability to scrub in addition to first-assist duties
- Experience with General, GU, and Orthopedic surgical specialties
- Comfort navigating multiple computer systems in a high-volume OR environment
