Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday | On-call responsibilities per unit need (evenings until 11PM only) | Rotating holiday requirements | No weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the surgeon and healthcare team to perform safe operations with optimal patient outcomes in a robotic-assisted surgical environment, with a focus on Da Vinci robotic procedures
• Practice perioperative nursing and apply knowledge, skill, and clinical judgment specific to the operating room and RNFA role, including robotic urology, GYN, colorectal, surgical oncology, thoracic, and general surgery cases
• Perform in a combined Circulator, Scrub, and RNFA capacity as assigned, supporting the full perioperative experience
• Practice in collaboration with and at the direction of the surgeon during the operative phase of care
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities per unit need, with evening call coverage until 11PM
• Maintain active CNOR certification and adhere to all perioperative nursing standards and protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State (NYS) Registered Professional Nurse license — NY license required
• CNOR Certification required
• Completion of an accredited RN First Assistant (RNFA) program through an accredited college or university
• Da Vinci robotic surgery experience required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum two (2) years of operating room experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma center
• Proficient scrubbing and circulating experience in a perioperative setting
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association preferred
• Experience across multiple robotic surgical specialties including urology, GYN, colorectal, surgical oncology (Whipples, gastrectomies, hernias), thoracic, and general surgery
