Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health Unit to provide high-quality care during night shifts. This full-time position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate and knowledgeable nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Health Unit.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to patients.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans and coping strategies.

Qualifications

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
  • Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to mentor and support new graduates.

Additional Information

Please note that one of the RN positions is currently open due to unexpected FMLA leave, and we are also onboarding a new graduate nurse who will need to pass their board exam prior to starting.
