Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent behavioral health or psych nursing experience
• Experience caring for patients across all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
• Comfortable with paper charting in an inpatient clinical setting
• Strong communication, de-escalation, and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to work evening shifts and every other weekend
• Travel nursing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to behavioral health patients in an acute inpatient setting
• Support individualized care plans that promote stabilization, recovery, and patient safety
• Care for patients with behavioral disorders, mood disorders, memory disorders, and mental health disorders
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to monitor patient progress and respond to changing needs
• Document patient care accurately using paper charting workflows
• Maintain a therapeutic, respectful, and age-appropriate environment for all patients
• Assist in delivering care across detoxification, inpatient, and residential levels of support
