Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience
• Open to caring for all ages, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and senior patients
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Comfortable with paper charting in an inpatient behavioral health environment
• Strong communication, assessment, crisis intervention, and de-escalation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients in an acute behavioral health setting
• Support individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health, mood, memory, and behavioral disorders
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Assist with detoxification, inpatient treatment, and residential level care as needed
• Collaborate with the care team to promote stabilization, recovery, and progress toward discharge or step-down care
• Maintain accurate paper documentation and follow all facility procedures and safety protocols
• Deliver respectful, age-appropriate care to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
