The schedule may consist of four 8-hour shifts or a combination of two 12-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift. If 8-hour shifts are chosen, hours could be from 3 PM to 11 PM or 11 PM to 7 AM. The role requires proficiency in managing antianxiety medications, antidepressants, and antipsychotics. Experience with behavior management techniques and crisis intervention is essential. Ability to handle various mental health disorders including anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder is required. Experience in managing self-injurious and suicidal behavior is critical. The role demands familiarity with seclusion protocols and procedures. Knowledge of medication administration and monitoring was expected. Must be able to work every third weekend. Locals are accepted; however, a different rate may apply. Verified professional references are required from two of the last three places worked, and they must be from different facilities.
