Patients may include those requiring detoxification and some medically acute patients, including intravenous therapies, CPAP, wound care, and diabetic care. The clinician to patient ratio is 1 RN to 7 or 8 patients. Rotating shifts are required for day positions, with shifts available from 7 AM to 7 PM, 11 AM to 11 PM, and 7 PM to 7 AM. Night positions do not require rotation. Floating to other areas may be necessary. The charting system used is electronic medical records.
