Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health – North Carolina

Schedule: Night shift, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, weekend schedule only (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). 36–48 hours per week available. 13-week contract duration.

- No on-call requirement; may float to task in medical-surgical units as needed
- 32-hour orientation program including hospital-wide and unit-specific training
Requirements:
- Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travel nurses accepted
- BLS certification and MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) required
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience with inpatient behavioral health, locked units, substance use/chemical dependency, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma-related disorders, and crisis management techniques
- Proficiency with psychotropic medications including antipsychotics, antidepressants, mood stabilizers, and antianxiety agents
- Knowledge of physical hold protocols, seclusion procedures, emergent chemical restraints, and voluntary/involuntary commitment processes
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
