TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110!

Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in PCU License: Active nursing license Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required; BSN preferred Must-Have: Experience with vents, IV starts, telemetry, long-term vent management, weaning, pulmonary rehab, and trach management. Description: Sign for either 36 or 48 hours per week. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:2-3 for all shifts. First-time travelers are accepted. Every other weekend availability is required. No on-call shifts required. Floating within the service line, including medical-surgical units is expected. Block scheduling accommodations are not available. Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius. Pending licenses are accepted. No restrictions on request time off beyond 7 days. Travelers must pass the Relias EKG exam. Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias are required. Phlebotomy and vent management experience alongside respiratory therapists are needed. Preferred skills include ABG draws, trach management, port access, and central line care. Daily census averages 9 patients with specific diagnoses requiring long-term ventilation, weaning, rehabilitation, and tracheostomy care. Special equipment knowledge related to trach and vent management is essential. All requirements for qualifications and skills must be met before commencement of the assignment. Travelers must not have new requests for time off after submission. No time off is allowed in the first week of the assignment. Compliance deadlines must be met. Fit testing is required for travelers with facial hair.
