The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. This unit has historically maintained a 1:7 patient ratio. The high volume of open travel needs is a direct response to fix this ratio. The more travelers who fill the vacancies, the lower the ratio will be. Travelers will be required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. A profile should include a valid driver’s license, work history/resume, skills checklist (must have been completed within the last year), license verification, and one supervisory reference required at the time of submission. Local candidates are accepted. This position requires individuals to possess a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs. Candidates should be ready to provide exceptional patient care and collaborate effectively with team members.
