Job Title: Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of previous stepdown experience required, at least 1 travel contract completed preferred
License: State license required
Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
Must-Have:
- Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
- Proficiency with medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban with some titration required
Description:
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.
The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
This unit has historically maintained a 1:7 patient ratio.
The high volume of open travel needs is a direct response to fix this ratio.
The more travelers who fill the vacancies, the lower the ratio will be.
Travelers will be required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
A profile should include a valid driver’s license, work history/resume, skills checklist (must have been completed within the last year), license verification, and one supervisory reference required at the time of submission.
