Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care for a travel contract in Rochester, NY. This role involves providing top-notch nursing care in a dynamic hospital setting, working with an interdisciplinary team to support and manage patient care effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse, PCU- Provide stepdown-level care in the PCU/DOU/IMC
- Engage in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Utilize Rapid Response and Code teams as needed
- Administer nasal cannula oxygen and manage non-invasive airways
- Oversee cardiac drips without titration and manage blood product administration
- Handle central and peripheral line care and management
- Perform IV therapy/phlebotomy and implement isolation precautions
Requirements of the Registered Nurse, PCU- Active New York Single State RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and valid NIHSS certifications
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience
