This role involves caring for patients with lung and esophageal diseases. The patient population includes those undergoing lobectomies, decortications, and esophagectomies. Nurses will assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion within the unit. The position fosters a dynamic general care environment utilizing strong teamwork.
