Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,264 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio across all shifts. Weekend coverage required.

• 13-week contract assignment with detailed orientation provided
• Advanced skills utilized including central line management, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, and telemetry monitoring

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (valid Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; second reference may be from a Charge RN
• Ohio fingerprinting must be completed urgently upon contract signing
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)

Key Skills & Experience:

• Telemetry and PCU/Step-down experience
• Arterial line and central line care and management
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
• IV insulin and heparin protocols
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases
• Management of BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, and oxygen delivery systems
• Blood product administration and PCA management
• Care of orthopedic trauma, total joint replacement, and pre/post neurosurgery patients
• Wound care and wound VAC management
