The nurse will be responsible for providing care to a diverse patient population. Patients may include those with medical-surgical, tele, cardiac, neuro, and CVA diagnoses. The unit operates on a rotating weekend schedule, which may vary based on unit needs. Charge experience is preferred, and the nurse will receive training and pay differentials for these responsibilities. Flexibility to work during the holiday season is necessary, including working at least one major holiday such as Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day. Orientation occurs biweekly for new hires and travelers. As a teaching hospital, collaboration and support among team members, students, and new hires is expected.
