Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

• Provide patient care for illnesses such as CHF, dysrhythmia, stroke, diabetes, and respiratory conditions
• Manage tracheostomies, cardiac drips, and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Administer chest tubes, blood products, and perform wound care/dressing changes
• Operate equipment like EMR, IV pumps, and medical monitors
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 18 months of PCU RN experience
