The nurse will be responsible for caring for patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions. The patient to nurse ratios are 1:3 to 1:4. The nurse will manage patients with diagnoses including respiratory failure, sepsis, and heart failure. Experience with cardiac drips such as nitro, Cardizem, and amiodarone is essential. The nurse will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Knowledge of computerized documentation is required. Floating to other departments may be necessary to meet facility needs. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend work is required every other weekend. The unit values providing exceptional care for a diverse patient population. The nurse will engage in holistic patient care and multidisciplinary collaboration.
