Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience required; 1 previous travel assignment required License: Must have a license in the state required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Pending license accepted, must provide proof of pending status at time of submission, must have license in hand prior to start date Description: This position is in an Intermediate Care unit. The schedule involves rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. The average patient ratio during the day is managed effectively by the staff. Candidates must possess experience in telemetry and management of dysrhythmias. Experience in the care of ventilated patients is essential. Familiarity with the electronic health record system is required. Candidates should have experience working with adult and geriatric populations. A team-based approach is utilized with interdisciplinary support, including various therapy and support services. Ensuring patient safety and quality care is a paramount responsibility. The ability to manage various patient diagnoses in a fast-paced environment is essential. Candidates must be willing to engage in continued education and comply with all facility policies.
