Candidates must have experience in float units, flexible scheduling, and the ability to adapt to different patient ratios. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Key responsibilities include providing care for those in medical-surgical, telemetry, and PCU diagnoses. The nurse will float to all medical-surgical, telemetry, and PCU units within the facility. The typical patient ratio is 1:4-5 in PCU and 1:5-6 in medical-surgical/telemetry. Weekend coverage is required, averaging six weekends in a 13-week contract. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday during the assignment period; if there are three major holidays, two must be worked. Full compliance is required before starting.
