Minimum of 2 years in telemetry.
Surgical telemetry experience, open heart surgery, vascular management, and IV skills are required.

Active compact nursing license.

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
Must-Have:
Epic experience is a hard requirement.
Description:
Candidates from other facilities are eligible for this contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.
First-time travelers are not accepted.
Floating to like units is required; candidates must be flexible.
Every other weekend is required.
Experience with patients who have had myocardial infarctions, arrhythmias, and open heart surgery is essential.
Required skills include breathing treatments, chest tube setup, blood product administration, and cardioversion.
Travelers may float between nearby facilities as needed.
Patients will include those recovering from vascular surgery and cardiac interventions.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 4:1, which may increase at night.
Specialized heart support experience is optional but preferred.
Candidates should have experience monitoring telemetry and interpreting dysrhythmias.
Attendance during holidays is expected; commitment to work three holidays per contract is required.
Scheduling requests must be made up front during the application process.
