Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Tennessee
Start Date: October 19, 2026

Schedule: 48-hour weekly guarantee; 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; self-scheduling available (within staffing balance requirements); schedule finalized 2 weeks in advance; block scheduling available for night shift; day and night shift positions available

- 29-bed Progressive Care Unit with 4:1 patient ratio and strong unit secretary and PCT support
- Heavy cardiac patient population including post-CV surgery, MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, post-CABG, and post-valve surgery patients
- Advanced clinical experience with critical drips including Dopamine, Dobutrex, Nitro, Heparin, Cardizem, Milrinone, Amiodarone, Precedex, and more
- Modern technology platform featuring iMobile devices, MobiLab specimen collection, Phillips telemetry and monitoring, Alaris pumps, and Meditech documentation
- Team-oriented culture with high employee engagement, excellent patient satisfaction scores, and outstanding quality metrics
- Strong support system with experienced RNs on both shifts, including staff with ICU backgrounds
Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Cardiac/telemetry experience required
- Progressive Care Unit and/or critical care experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in IV insertion, chest tube management, DHT insertion/management, tracheostomy care, central line management, EKG interpretation, Foley management, and early patient mobility
- Experience with complex patient populations including sepsis, stroke, post-operative cardiac surgery, respiratory failure, DKA, and GI bleed
