TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37404!

Job Opportunity – Cardiac Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48-hour weekly guarantee with every other weekend rotation (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule). 6:1 patient ratio on a 30-bed cardiac unit.

Highlights:

  • Specialized cardiac unit with telemetry monitoring using GE systems
  • EMR: Meditech (HCA version) with WOW (Workstation on Wheels) and Pyxis ES medication dispensing
  • Equipment includes Welch Allyn vitals monitors, GE telemetry with rovers, and Novameter glucose systems
  • Float rotation to general medical/surgical, orthopedic, progressive care, and surgical oncology units
  • Strong unit leadership with experienced charge nurses (12 to 39 years of seniority)
  • Structured patient experience program including bedside and hourly rounding protocols

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure
  • ACLS certification required
  • BLS and NIH stroke scale certification required
  • Cardiac nursing knowledge strongly preferred
  • Experience with cardiac drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone
  • Competency in chest tube management, wound vac management, and EKG interpretation
