Post-procedural care includes managing patients after cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, and ablations. The RN to patient ratio is 1:4-5. There is support from a Certified Nursing Assistant who assists with vital signs, blood glucose checks, and safety rounds. Telemetry monitoring is provided, with nurses responsible for verifying strips once per shift. Clientists and intensivists are available 24/7 for additional support. The unit fosters a family atmosphere with an emphasis on teamwork. Royal blue scrubs are required for staff members.
