# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Texas
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, 13-week contract assignment. Four weekend shifts per month required (Friday and Saturday are considered weekend nights). 1:5 patient ratio with dedicated PCT support.

- Supportive leadership team with Clinical Nurse Coordinators rounding each shift to provide education and assistance
Requirements:- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2+ years of progressive care or critical care nursing experience
- Cardiology experience required, including open hearts, heart failure, post-catheterization lab patients, and valve patients
- LVAD experience preferred
- Meditech EMR proficiency preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred
