    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days/Evenings | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Shifts available: 6:30–19:00, 9:00–21:00, 10:00–22:00, 11:00–23:30, or 13:00–01:30

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide Phase I and Phase II PACU recovery care for high-acuity surgical patients including kidney transplant, craniotomy, transaortic valve replacement, spine surgery, VATS, and ICU-level patients
    • Deliver pre- and post-operative nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
    • Monitor and manage patients recovering from complex surgical procedures, ensuring hemodynamic stability and safety
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
    • Float to other facilities within the health system as needed based on staffing requirements
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital setting
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)
    • BSN required
    • AHA BLS certification
    • ACLS certification
    • PALS certification
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in an inpatient PACU setting (Phase I, Phase II, and Pre/Post experience required)
    • Experience in a Level I Trauma Center and high-acuity PACU environment required
    • Teaching hospital experience required
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR
    • 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submission
