Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical procedures
Apply airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management skills in a fast-paced PACU environment
Work across preoperative and extended care units as needed
Float to other affiliated facilities within the health system as required and based on qualifications
Complete non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as required
Required Qualifications
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum 5 years of total RN experience
Minimum 3 years of PACU-specific experience
Teaching hospital experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
CCRN or CPAN certification
Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
