    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

    Location

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide holistic, patient- and family-centered nursing care across the full lifespan, including neonates, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
    • Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
    • Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans; coordinate care across disciplines and delegate tasks to appropriate care team members
    • Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to critical changes in patient condition in a fast-paced PACU environment
    • Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices; actively contribute to improving practice standards and the care environment
    • Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation and care coordination; adhere to facility dress code (Royal Blue Scrubs)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Minnesota RN License required
    • Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
    • Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience (ICU and/or ED) required
    • Trauma Level I experience required
    • Experience with pediatric through geriatric patient populations required
    • Previous travel nursing experience required
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC) required
    • Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms required
    • MN DHS Net Study and Fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
    • Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted rate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a high-volume Level I Trauma and/or Level II Pediatric Trauma setting
    • Familiarity with NICU-level acuity or Women and Children's care environments
    • Strong background managing complex, multi-system critical care patients in a rotating shift environment
