Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, patient- and family-centered nursing care across the full lifespan, including neonates, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans; coordinate care across disciplines and delegate tasks to appropriate care team members
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately within the PACU setting
- Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practice improvement and patient safety
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Minnesota RN License required
- Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (ICU or ED) required
- Previous PACU experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC) required
- Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms required
- Experience with pediatric through geriatric patient populations required
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- MN DHS Background Study (Net Study) and Fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
- Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume, Level I Trauma or Level II Pediatric Trauma environment
- Familiarity with NICU-adjacent or complex surgical patient populations
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and communication skills
