Contract | Days | Monday–Friday | 5x8-Hour Shifts (12:00–20:30) | On-Site | Call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for adult and pediatric patients across a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedic, neuro, general, urology, dental, GYN, and pediatric ENT (T&A, BMT, etc.)
• Monitor and manage patients with nerve blocks, chest tubes, central lines, A-lines, and intubation
• Assist with Pre-Op coverage as needed to support unit operations
• Expect to work some holidays as part of the assignment schedule
• Maintain active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required prior to start date (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications required
• Pediatric patient care experience required
• Experience recovering patients from all surgical specialties listed above (hearts excluded)
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• On-site drug screening required; failure will result in cancellation of assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience preferred
• Critical care background strongly preferred
• Level II trauma experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
